Delete your account

Delete in the app

1. Open the Bhojan app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings › Account › Delete account.
3. Read what is deleted, then confirm with the emailed code or by signing in with Google or Apple again.

Signed in with Google or Apple, no email?

Accounts without an email address can’t get a code here. Delete from inside the app: it asks you to sign in with Google or Apple again to confirm.

Can’t use either?

Email support@spatialojas.com from your account’s email address, or tell us how you sign in, and we’ll delete it for you.

Cancel your subscription too

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. If one is still active, we show a link to cancel it after deleting. A Nepal pass simply ends.

What we delete

Straight away: your email address and sign-in details, name, country, profile, dietary preferences, scan history, sessions, rewarded-ad scan credits and photos you sent that were not published. Photos are removed from storage shortly after. You are signed out on every device. [LEGAL REVIEW]

What we keep

• Food data you helped publish, with no link to you.
• Payment and subscription records (amounts, dates, store ids) that tax law requires, without your phone number or email. [LEGAL REVIEW]
• If the account was ever restricted: a ban record of salted hashes, never the email or device id itself, for 2 years. Photos held for a safety review are kept as evidence. [LEGAL REVIEW]
